Dynamic Branding for JCI UK National Convention 2017 – “The Power of Us”

JCI Southampton hosted the 2017 JCI UK National Convention, with the theme “The Power of Us: Past, Present, Future.” The event aimed to celebrate the achievements of JCI members and Senators while fostering collaboration to build a better future for the organisation and the communities it serves.

As the Deputy Conference Organising Committee Director, I was tasked with creating a cohesive visual identity for the convention, encompassing social media graphics, a conference brochure, roller banners, and a suite of marketing materials. The designs needed to reflect the convention’s celebratory yet forward-thinking theme, ensuring the messaging resonated with attendees.
The design approach combined bold, modern typography with a vibrant colour palette, symbolising collaboration and empowerment. Imagery showcased both historic and contemporary moments from JCI, tying the past, present, and future narrative together. Consistency across materials ensured that the theme was instantly recognisable across all touchpoints, from pre-event promotions to on-the-day collateral.

The materials created a professional, engaging atmosphere for the convention, inspiring attendees and enhancing the overall experience. The cohesive branding strengthened the message of unity and collaboration, leaving delegates motivated to contribute positively to their communities.
